Principles of the AASR
Freemasonry is akin to a temple accessible to humankind to cultivate a sense of duty, sincerity of aspirations and nobility of spirit. It advocates spiritual development and proclaims its faith in civilization. It is a system of thought which, through symbols and knowledge, encourages Brother Masons to work towards their own improvement with the aim of a better world.
The AASR works
- to the glory of the Great Architect of the Universe
- in accordance with Masonic tradition and
- in accordance with the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights” adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948
The AASR is a mutual training school based on the practice of rituals and the exchange of ideas. Each member works on his own moral development and strives to act in an exemplary manner.
The personal approach is based on:
- an honorable conduct of life, full of meaning and filled with brotherly love in perfect harmony with one’s peers;
- the strengthening of one’s own conception of the world and of human beings.
The members of the AASR pursue the following general objective:
- establish a world in which all human beings live in respect of the principles of freedom, human dignity and mutual tolerance.
The AASR does not interfere in political or religious controversies, but expects its members to engage in all areas of public life.
